Own end-to-end testing and troubleshooting of Automotive Wire Harness Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems.
Perform electrical validation including continuity, insulation resistance, isolation, Hipot testing, and diagnose electrical components and test fixture hardware.
Analyze automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, LIN), support automation software (LabVIEW/TestStand), and support AOI/Machine Vision systems for quality inspection.
4-10 years of experience in automotive wire harness testing and electrical validation.
B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
Hands-on skills with Automotive Wiring Harness Testing, ATE, Electrical Testing, LabVIEW/TestStand/Python/C#, automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, LIN), and electrical schematics.
Preferred knowledge of SQL/MES and AOI/Machine Vision tools like Cognex, Keyence, or OpenCV.
Experienced in troubleshooting and optimizing complex automated wire harness test systems in automotive domain.
Comfortable with both hardware diagnostics (electrical components, test fixtures) and software tools (LabVIEW, TestStand, communication protocol analyzers).
Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and improving test system reliability and performance in an engineering environment.
