Design, develop, test, and maintain routing protocols and control plane software including APIs and programmatic interfaces.
Develop routing and network virtualization features involving BGP, EVPN, OSPF, PIM, and Segment Routing.
Collaborate with architects, QA, and Support teams to define features, handle releases, and fix bugs, owning tasks end-to-end with minimal supervision.
BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 4 years of software development experience involving multiple routing protocols such as EVPN, BGP, PIM, OSPF, RIFT, or MPLS/SR.
Strong proficiency in C programming with proven design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead feature development independently and mentor other engineers.
Experienced in multiple control plane protocols specifically for data center environments with significant hands-on knowledge in EVPN, OSPF, BGP, and Multicast.
Capable of driving end-to-end design and development efforts with autonomy and leadership.
Familiarity with Linux kernel networking, hardware forwarding, and participation in open-source community projects is a plus.
