Plan, develop, execute, and document testing for embedded Linux, platform software, and multi-architecture system environments including kernel, BSP, platform validation, integration, regression, and system-level tests.
Troubleshoot system issues, document defects, and collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, product, support, certification, and delivery teams to meet project schedules and quality goals.
Support verification, validation, defect management, certification artifacts, audit evidence, and certification review activities where applicable.
8+ years of work experience in embedded software testing, Linux system testing, BSP testing, kernel testing, platform validation, integration testing, or system-level software quality engineering.
Strong knowledge of Linux, C/C++, scripting, debugging, test automation, embedded tools, and hardware/software integration.
Experience documenting test cases, defects, test results, validation evidence, and quality assurance artifacts.
Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, support, DevOps, certification, and delivery teams to resolve issues and align with schedules.
Demonstrated expertise in embedded Linux and platform-level testing within complex software and hardware environments.
Experience with mission-critical or safety-critical software environments such as aerospace, defense, automotive, telecom, industrial, or medical sectors is a plus.
Familiarity with verification and validation standards (e.g., DO-178C), safety certification, design assurance, compliance documentation, and related tooling like Git and Polarion.
