Own application packaging, repackaging, testing, virtualization, and deployment for enterprise Windows applications using MSI, MST, MSIX, APP-V, and APPX formats.
Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, VB Script, Batch) and customize packages for deployment via SCCM, MECM, or Intune.
Manage application compatibility testing, troubleshooting deployment issues, and quality assurance for software packages, including virtualization technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent fields (B.Tech, B.E., BCA, MCA, etc.).
3 to 8 years of experience in application packaging and software deployment in enterprise Windows environments.
Hands-on skills with AdminStudio, InstallShield, Windows Installer technologies (MSI, MST, MSIX), scripting (PowerShell, VB Script, Batch), and deployment tools (SCCM, MECM, Intune).
Knowledge of application virtualization (Microsoft App-V), troubleshooting, and compatibility tools like Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT), App-DNA, ChangeBASE.
Experienced professional comfortable working with enterprise desktop management and application lifecycle management tools.
Strong technical expertise in Windows application packaging with proficiency in scripting for automation and customization.
Able to manage complex deployment scenarios including virtualization and compatibility remediation during OS upgrades.
