Own architecture and end-to-end delivery of platform software design for high-performance Ethernet switching networking platforms, including chassis and line-card platform services, Ethernet interfaces, and system infrastructure.
Drive system design and implementation across core networking subsystems with focus on reliability and performance in mission-critical deployments.
Collaborate with testing and support teams to establish quality standards, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve platform robustness.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related discipline; Master’s degree is desirable.
4-10 years of professional experience in platform or system software engineering.
Strong expertise in low-level systems including device drivers, board/system bring-up, and FreeBSD/Linux internals.
Proven experience with C/C++ software engineering, hardware/firmware interfaces (PCIe, SPI, I2C, FPGA/CPLD), and networking fundamentals (Ethernet).
Experienced in system software architecture, capable of making end-to-end design decisions and optimizations for networking platforms.
Comfortable applying AI-assisted development tools throughout system design lifecycle to improve speed and reliability.
Able to translate hardware datasheets into robust software abstractions and work directly with cross-functional teams for testing and support.
