Own software testing and performance maintenance for applications in C/C++, Java, Bash, Python, Perl on Linux and Windows in both on-prem and cloud environments.
Implement and maintain test automation, perform benchmarks, security and performance testing, and support DevOps pipelines along with release/build management and CI/CD.
Troubleshoot production issues and participate in SDLC/STLC processes focusing on payment-related systems such as NAC, TNIP, TNSPay Protect, Payments Message Conversion, and SIG.
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
5+ years of software testing experience with 3+ years in test automation on Linux.
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Perl, Python; experience with REST/JSON and API/backend testing, network level testing, and relevant test tools.
Familiarity with SDLC/STLC, Agile methodologies, Git, DevOps pipelines; strong problem-solving and ability to meet deadlines.
Experienced in backend and API testing with strong focus on automation and integration in complex systems operating within payment domains.
Comfortable working in Scrum/Agile environments and capable of handling troubleshooting and production support independently.
Knowledgeable about payment protocols (preferably ISO8583), security testing, and payment lifecycle including Authorization and Settlement concepts.
