Own end-to-end development and delivery of high-complexity AI productization features, including REST APIs, frontend wiring, feature logic, and AI component integration.
Collaborate with AI Engineers and Architects to integrate LLM-based components with reliable fallbacks, observability, and latency management.
Maintain high code quality, mentor junior engineers, and provide feedback to platform teams to improve shared infrastructure and standards.
8+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend or full-stack production development focus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
Expertise in at least one backend language (Java, Python, or TypeScript), strong REST API design, database modeling (SQL and NoSQL), event-driven patterns, and working knowledge of frontend frameworks (React or equivalent).
Working understanding of LLM APIs and AI integration patterns, experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot).
Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex AI-powered software features end-to-end within a production environment.
Strong collaborator able to work closely with AI specialists and architects to shape AI integration design and escalate architectural issues.
Experience with engineering excellence practices including CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and mentorship of junior engineers.
