Own the technical leadership and direction of a Marketplace Data Engineering squad serving various Nike business domains (e.g., Nike Direct, Wholesale Demand, Inventory).
Lead design and implementation of data consumption layers, APIs, and pipelines, setting architecture patterns, data contracts, and quality standards.
Responsible for production reliability, scalability, security, incident response, mentoring junior engineers, and influencing cross-organization data architecture.
7–10 years of backend and/or data engineering experience.
Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, Scala; strong SQL and data modeling skills.
Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog or equivalents, and orchestration tools like Airflow.

Expertise in distributed systems, data products, and modern data governance/security practices including observability, SRE, and CI/CD.
