Own reliability, security, and performance of enterprise middleware platforms including GoAnywhere MFT, AWS MSK (Kafka), IBM MQ, and AWS ElastiCache.
Manage platform operations such as build, run, support, automation, incident/problem management, and capacity planning for middleware services.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to enable secure, scalable data movement and event-driven integrations.
3-5 years experience in middleware/integration/platform engineering supporting production systems.
Hands-on administration experience with at least two of the following: Kafka (AWS MSK), GoAnywhere MFT, AWS ElastiCache (Redis/Memcached), IBM MQ.
Experience with Linux administration, networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, firewalls), AWS core services (VPC, IAM, EC2), and production support including incident management and change/release processes.
Scripting/automation skills (Python/Shell); familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Deep technical expertise in administering at least two middleware platforms (e.g., IBM MQ clustering and Kafka broker management).
Experienced in secure integration operations including implementing TLS/mTLS, certificate lifecycle, secrets management, and collaboration with InfoSec teams.
Proficient in production incident resolution, capacity planning, automation, and scalable secure platform operations in a cloud environment (AWS).
