Own the operational reliability, availability, and incident management of enterprise and data center network infrastructure.
Collaborate with architecture and deployment teams to ensure new network implementations meet production support and reliability standards.
Drive network automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement to meet and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs), including performing root cause analyses and knowledge base development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience in network operations, support, automation, or site reliability engineering focusing on enterprise and data center networks.
Strong expertise in network fundamentals and protocols including TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VPN, L2 switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Wireless, and data center network technologies.
Experience with network automation tools (Salt, Ansible, Python or similar) and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, Nautobot/Netbox, BigPanda.
Experienced in handling complex network operations at scale with a strong focus on operational excellence and reliability engineering.
Proficient in automating network operations workflows and integrating network telemetry signals like SNMP, Syslog, and Streaming Telemetry to reduce manual toil.
Familiarity with advanced network platforms (Mellanox/Cumulus Linux, Cisco/Arista, Palo Alto firewalls, Versa SDWAN) and advanced networking technologies like VXLAN/EVPN, MPLS, RSVP, Segment Routing, SDWAN, and SASE platforms.
