Proven expertise certifying SONET/SDH/OTN/DWDM systems, with strong knowledge of ROADM and optical amplifier line cards standards.
Hands-on experience with test equipment (test sets, optical spectrum analyzers) and programming/scripting (Python, Perl, or similar).
Experienced in optical and software design for network equipment integrated within optical nodes, with deep understanding of FCAPS, provisioning, configuration, protection schemes, and optical controls for power management.
Capable of strategic test planning and execution across multiple product releases, including failure analysis and quality reporting.
Comfortable collaborating closely with system engineering and customer support teams to handle feature validations and field escalations.
