Own the design and implementation of enterprise-grade observability strategy using Datadog and ServiceNow integrations to ensure comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and performance analytics.
Deploy and manage Datadog agents, integrations, dashboards, monitors, and runbooks for infrastructure, platforms, and critical applications at scale.
Implement and optimize event routing from Datadog to ServiceNow for automated incident/problem management, maintain CMDB relationships, and drive operational reliability through SLOs, alert reduction, and MTTR improvements.
5–8+ years of experience in Infrastructure/Platform/SRE/Observability roles in enterprise environments.
Expert hands-on experience with Datadog administration including agents, integrations, logs pipelines, APM/tracing, synthetics, dashboards, tagging, and ServiceNow Event Management, CMDB, and integration.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Linux/Windows/Unix systems monitoring, scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash), Datadog/ServiceNow APIs, and Git workflows.
Experienced in managing large enterprise observability programs (>500 nodes/services) across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) with Kubernetes and Terraform knowledge.
Strong focus on automation, consistency, and measurable outcomes to drive reliability engineering and operational excellence.
Proven ability to collaborate with multiple engineering teams to establish standards, reduce alert noise, design SLOs/SLIs, and improve MTTR backed by telemetry data.
