Create and execute Python-based automated test scripts within an existing SIL framework, including extending the simulation environment to support testing needs.
Perform regression testing, debug test failures, review test designs, collaborate with embedded software engineers, and ensure Computer System Validation (CSV) compliance of the test framework.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Communications, or related field.
0–2 years of experience with embedded software development in C/C++ on microcontroller-based systems.
Experience with Python scripting or automation for test implementation.
Understanding of real-time system fundamentals such as scheduling, interrupts, and timing behavior.
Experience or familiarity with RTOS environments like ThreadX or FreeRTOS and basic exposure to software testing methodologies (unit, integration, system testing).
Comfortable debugging embedded systems, analyzing logs, and working within test frameworks or CI workflows (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub).
Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams to improve test coverage and framework capabilities.
