Design and execute test plans to validate SONiC and Junos functionality on Broadcom-based switches including L2/L3 features like BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, QinQ, multicast.
Develop automated functional, regression, scale, and performance tests using Python and Robot Framework; perform deep debugging across ASIC, NOS, control and data planes.
Collaborate with SONiC open-source community for fixes and improvements; validate optical modules and transceiver management protocols (e.g., CMIS, DOM).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
7+ years of experience in network software or hardware testing.
Strong knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols, switch/router architecture, SONiC NOS, and SAI-based architectures.
Proficiency in Python and test automation frameworks like Robot Framework; experience working onsite at customer/partner location (Onsite role).
Demonstrated expertise with SONiC architecture components (SAI, FRR, Redis DB, Docker, Minigraph) and Broadcom SDKs (SDKLT/OpenNSL preferred).
Experience contributing to SONiC or other open-source networking projects and familiarity with tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker in lab test environments.
Competency in network traffic generators (Spirent, IxNetwork), telemetry protocols (gNMI, OpenConfig), and API testing (YANG/Netconf/REST).
