Develop and maintain backend components primarily using Java 11+ or 17 and Spring ecosystem frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
Design and build RESTful APIs adhering to REST standards including versioning, idempotency, pagination, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
Collaborate with DevSecOps and QA teams supporting CI/CD pipelines and production issue resolution, with emphasis on secure coding and performance troubleshooting.
8-10 years work experience in Java backend development.
Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 11+ or 17), collections, concurrency, JVM fundamentals, and Spring Boot/Spring MVC/Spring Data.
Proficient in RESTful API design, JUnit 5 and Mockito testing frameworks, Maven/Gradle build tools, and relational databases (Oracle/Postgres).
Experience with payments domain including understanding basic payment flows and security fundamentals such as OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and OWASP top 10 security practices.
Experienced in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable Java backend systems with a strong delivery mindset and testing discipline.
Comfortable working in a DevSecOps collaborative environment, supporting full CI/CD lifecycle and production troubleshooting.
Familiarity with payments industry and capable of secure application development aligned with industry security standards.
