Design, develop, deploy, and maintain backend microservices using Java and microservices architecture for financial and compliance functions.
Manage Azure SQL databases, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) deployments, Docker containerization, and NGINX reverse proxy/load balancing for scalable cloud-native applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support investment banking operations and regulatory reporting, ensuring application security, performance, and scalability.
Minimum 8 years of professional experience, with at least 7.5 years as a Senior Software Engineer.
Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot or similar), Azure SQL, REST API development, microservices architecture, Docker, AKS, and NGINX production management.
Experience working on financial domain projects preferred but not strictly mandatory (investment banking/regulatory reporting environment is a plus).
Language proficiency: English at C1 Advanced level.
Senior engineer experienced in designing and deploying cloud-native, microservices-based applications on Azure, with deep Java expertise.
Operationally strong in container orchestration (AKS), cloud database performance tuning, and production environment management (NGINX, Docker).
Familiarity with financial domain, especially investment banking or regulatory reporting, enabling effective collaboration with compliance and business teams.
