Own end-to-end development and delivery of Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and governed deployments across Development, Test, and Production environments.
Manage Power BI Service including workspaces, apps, datasets, refresh schedules, access controls, and implement security best practices such as Row-Level Security and least privilege access.
Lead a team of analysts, provide project estimates, resolve data refresh and performance issues, maintain documentation, and enforce best practices in DAX, modeling, and release management.
7-12 years of overall work experience in Power BI development and SQL (T-SQL preferred).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI Service administration including Dataflows, Apps, Deployment Pipelines, and security (RLS).
Proven experience managing multi-stage deployment pipelines (Dev/Test/Prod) and SQL optimization for data extraction and transformations.
Experienced in leading BI delivery with ownership of scalable semantic models and governed release pipelines in an enterprise environment.
Skilled at collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders and data engineering teams to design and optimize analytics solutions.
Demonstrates expertise in operational excellence including monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, mentoring, and enforcing BI best practices.
