Develop, deploy, and support in-house CAD tools or EDA vendor tools focused on design verification, low power, functional safety, and coverage flows.
Collaborate with designers, design verification teams, and management to develop verification solutions that meet specified requirements.
Drive consensus on design tools, flows, and methodologies and document design methodologies including training delivery to design teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 7+ years industry experience OR Master's degree with 5+ years OR PhD with 1+ year in Hardware Engineering or related experience.
Proven experience in IP/SoC level verification and verification methodology.
Strong programming skills in Object-Oriented languages such as Python, Perl, C, or C++, and scripting skills with Makefile, Shell scripting.
Experience supporting or developing CAD/EDA tools and debugging vendor tools including familiarity with Synopsys/Cadence or similar EDA tools.
Experience operating at the intersection of design and verification with capability to influence and drive company-wide design verification tool strategies.
Expertise in front-end digital design and/or digital verification methodologies with a focus on low power and complex SoC verification.
Strong communicator with proven ability to manage vendor relationships and lead tool/process improvements within a hardware/EDA focused engineering environment.
