Deploy, configure, and maintain security tooling (SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability scanners) across AWS, Azure, and on-premises infrastructure.
Automate security controls, detection rules, alerting logic, and SecOps workflows using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
Support cloud and infrastructure security (CIS benchmarks, IaC hardening), detection engineering, incident response, and collaborate closely with the CISO to implement the security strategy.
4–7 years of hands-on experience in security engineering or security operations engineering role.
Proficiency in scripting languages: Python and/or Bash; PowerShell is a plus.
Hands-on experience with at least one cloud environment (AWS or Azure) and native security services.
Experience with SIEM platform configuration, detection rule development, vulnerability management tooling, and infrastructure as code (Terraform or Ansible) review.
Experienced in technical, hands-on build and configuration of security systems beyond policy or audit roles.
Strong scripting and automation skills to reduce alert fatigue and streamline SecOps tasks.
Comfortable translating CISO directives into technical deliverables and engaging in hands-on incident response and threat hunting activities.
