Oversee design and detailing of Civil & Structural works for substations and related civil works from pre-bid to as-built stages.
Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team including Lead Engineers, Design Engineers, and draftspersons to deliver projects within budget, time, and quality standards.
Coordinate with electrical, MEP, site, client, and vendor teams to ensure integrated engineering solutions, resolve issues, and optimize civil and structural quantities and costs.
B.Tech in Civil or M.Tech in Structural, Geotech, or Environmental Engineering.
12-18 years of work experience, preferably with civil & structural aspects of substations/power distribution, oil and gas, fertilizers, or construction sectors.
Experience with design and engineering of civil and structural substation projects; 2-3 years preferred in project lead role.
Proficiency in STAAD, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office; knowledge of Tekla is a plus.
Experienced in handling multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating across multiple project locations and disciplines.
Strong technical expertise in civil and structural design of GIS substations, control rooms, foundations, steel and RCC structures, and geotechnical aspects.
Capacity to manage end-to-end engineering activities including risk analysis, vendor document review, BOQ and cost control, and interfacing with clients and site teams.
