Tier-1 brand and metro location increase competition, but niche SSD validation skills limit candidate pool.
Highly specialized SSD firmware and NVMe validation skills poorly transfer across unrelated industries.
Explicit 8-14 years, mandatory SSD/NVMe/PCIe validation and embedded firmware skills enforce strict filters.

Define and develop test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to validate SSD firmware for Micron NAND-based systems focusing on functional, system level, and customer qualification tests.
Collaborate with hyperscale/datacenter customers throughout product life cycle to improve cycle time and customer quality, and communicate program statuses and validation strategies.
Use debugging tools and validation suites (NVMe/PCIe protocols, Medusa, SanBlaze, Oakgate) to identify and resolve SSD firmware issues; engage with product teams to drive issue closure.
8-14 years experience in Embedded firmware or 4+ years in SSD Product Validation preferred.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Strong understanding of NVMe/PCIe specifications, system storage components (CPU, Memory, PCIe, drivers, OS, firmware).
Experience with Windows/Linux debugging, Python coding, Auto code generators, and AI agents for validation tasks.
Proven track record working on SSD firmware validation with expertise in protocol debugging and automated test environments.
Experienced in collaborative customer-facing validation roles within hyperscale/datacenter contexts, managing multiple projects with clear communication and reporting.
Competent in integrating modern AI tools and auto-code generators to enhance validation processes with strong analytical and project management skills.
