About This Role

Provide Level 3 production support for critical Java microservices and batch/streaming workloads, including major incident triage and root cause analysis.

Support, tune, and troubleshoot Apache Kafka streaming, Spring Boot services, Oracle databases, and Elasticsearch clusters to ensure stability and performance.

Enhance observability via dashboards, alerts, runbooks, and drive problem management including automation/self-healing within agreed SLAs; participate in on-call rotations and release readiness.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of applied software engineering experience, including formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.

Strong hands-on experience with Java 11+, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka production support, Oracle SQL tuning, and Elasticsearch operational support.

Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platform operations (e.g., GKE/GCP), Linux system troubleshooting, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD), and scripting in Shell or Python.

Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools with ability to validate and refine AI outputs; knowledge of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced in L3/production support for distributed systems operating in regulated or high-availability environments, preferably financial services.

Strong background in incident and problem management processes with proven RCA and major incident handling capabilities.

Skilled in collaborating with development teams on release readiness, automation, and observability improvements within agile teams utilizing modern DevOps and cloud-native technologies.
