Own end-to-end design, development, and delivery of production-grade agentic AI applications on AWS Strands SDK and Bedrock AgentCore for 1–2 agile teams.
Set and enforce engineering quality standards including code, design, testing, CI/CD, observability, and on-call readiness for multiple delivery teams.
Lead technical roadmap, mentoring, incident response, and maintain integration discipline with AI Platform primitives for reliably delivered AI agent services.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent practical experience; or 10+ years experience in lieu of degree.
Minimum 8+ years software engineering experience, including 3+ years as a tech lead/staff/principal engineer on cloud-based production systems.
Expert-level Python skills, hands-on experience with agentic AI applications on AWS Strands SDK and/or Bedrock AgentCore, and solid knowledge of AWS core services including IAM, VPC, S3, EKS/ECS, and Secrets Manager.
Strong DevOps / LLMOps skills covering CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform/CDK), containerization, observability, and incident management including on-call experience.
Experienced principal-level engineer with a focus on building scalable, production-grade agentic AI systems on AWS integrating multiple services and observability.
Strong leadership in enforcing engineering standards, mentoring engineers, driving technical roadmap, and collaborating with product and platform teams.
Familiarity with advanced AI patterns like RAG, multi-step reasoning, HITL, solid architecture/design patterns, and security/compliance practices for regulated environments.
