Design, configure, administer, and support middleware platforms such as JWS Tomcat, JBoss EAP, and NGINX including clustering, load balancing, and security.
Manage middleware lifecycle tasks including installation, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and decommissioning to ensure high availability and reliability.
Provide L2/L3 support including troubleshooting JVM, performance, and connectivity issues; support application deployments and automation with CI/CD and configuration management tools.
5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in middleware application server management.
Hands-on expertise with JWS Tomcat 9.x/10.x, Red Hat JBoss EAP 7.x, and NGINX middleware technologies.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration (preferably RHEL) and knowledge of Java application server architecture and JVM fundamentals.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experienced in operating and stabilizing production-grade middleware application servers in enterprise environments.
Familiar with hybrid infrastructure environments including on-premise, container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS), and automation tools (Chef, Ansible, Terraform).
Comfortable working with security compliance, middleware security hardening, and collaboration with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
