Own and manage Defect Management processes across multiple projects delivering next-generation Telematic Units.
Define, tailor, optimize, maintain, train on, and support defect management processes and tools including JIRA and ticket tracking systems.
Drive ticket quality checks, status meetings, ticket resolution, reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, architects, and customers.
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or hard science; Master’s degree preferred.
1-3 years experience in project teams of 30+ members; experience in SW development projects and processes.
Experience with software tools such as JIRA, Confluence, bug tracking software, Excel; experience in Defect Management or project support preferred.
Fluent technical and commercial Japanese and English; willing to travel up to 15% (domestic and international).
Experienced working in large, complex software development projects with emphasis on defect management processes.
Able to independently drive defect resolution efforts and process improvements across heterogeneous teams and stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a structured manner under pressure with ability to abstract complex issues into simple, generic solutions and communicate clearly.
