Develop and enhance features and tools for NVIDIA Enterprise Networking products including Ethernet switch systems and network operating systems like Cumulus Linux, SONiC, and Mellanox Onyx.
Own and resolve customer network issues related to Ethernet or InfiniBand switch deployments from start to finish, ensuring improved availability and reliability.
Collaborate closely with customers and engineering teams to analyze, document, and solve complex network and NOS internal issues, contributing to the technical knowledge base.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5+ years of system software development and troubleshooting experience with some customer-facing exposure.
Configuration and operational expertise with network switch/router platforms such as IOS, JunOS, EOS.
Proven ability to analyze IP/Layer 2 switching/Layer 3 routing protocols (ARP, STP, LACP, MLAG, IGMP, PIM, BGP, OSPF) and experience working in large-scale network environments with overlay technologies (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN).
Experienced in working directly with enterprise or service provider customers for network device support or development, especially in switch/router environments.
Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Python and scripting, coupled with deep knowledge of Linux and network operating systems such as Cumulus Linux, SONiC, or Mellanox Onyx.
Capable of independently analyzing complex network problems, recreating issues, and communicating solutions clearly to technical teams and customers.
