Own resolution of customer network issues related to NVIDIA's Ethernet switch systems, including Cumulus Linux, SONiC, and Mellanox Onyx NOS on Spectrum hardware.
Develop new features and tools to enhance NVIDIA's networking/switching products and improve their availability and reliability.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to document, analyze, and solve complex network issues end-to-end.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5+ years of system software development and troubleshooting experience with customer-facing exposure.
Configuration and operational expertise with network switch/router platforms such as IOS, JunOS, or EOS.
Proven deep understanding of IP / Layer 2/3 networking protocols (ARP, STP, LACP, MLAG, IGMP, PIM, BGP, OSPF) and experience with overlay network technologies (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN).
Experienced engineer with solid networking software and Linux knowledge able to troubleshoot NOS internal issues and network operating systems.
Skilled in python and scripting with strong computer science fundamentals and ability to analyze large-scale enterprise network environments.
Comfortable working independently on customer escalations and collaborating across teams to deliver scalable networking software solutions.
