Own end-to-end design, build, and operation of the MCP integration layer connecting AI systems to third-party services, focusing on secure, governed, production-grade connectivity.
Implement and manage an MCP gateway handling authentication termination, policy enforcement, credential injection, audit logging, and security measures including OAuth 2.1 flows and secrets management.
Develop and maintain vendor and custom MCP servers, enforce integration governance and security policies, and run connection tests across multiple third-party tools and services.

Must have experience or strong familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol), REST/JSON API integration, OAuth 2.1 authentication, Python 3.10+, Go programming, policy-as-code (OPA / Rego), and secrets management (HashiCorp Vault or equivalent).
Experienced integration engineer comfortable building secure, production-grade API integrations with multiple SaaS and DevOps tools using strong authentication and authorization protocols.
Detail-oriented engineer with strong computer science fundamentals and proven ability to author policy-as-code and operate security-first integration platforms treating external services as untrusted.
Collaborative professional able to engage internal teams and external vendor contacts, and produce precise integration documentation and runbooks while driving standards in a cloud-native environment.
