Lead and manage customer trust engagements relating to Confluent's security, privacy, resilience, and compliance posture, including negotiation of security terms.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Customer Solutions to design and implement security and compliance solutions for customers.
Build and scale internal capabilities and programs for customer enablement and drive externally facing communications on trust and assurance.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Security and Compliance.
Customer-facing experience at a cloud provider or consulting firm, ideally involving complex security and compliance requirements.
Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, HITRUST, SOC2, CSA, NIST and architectural familiarity across multiple security domains (IAM, data protection, network security, cloud infrastructure).
Experienced in independently managing end-to-end customer trust and assurance engagements with minimal supervision.
Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards relevant to cloud services and digital sovereignty, including APAC-specific standards and financial services regulations.
Able to lead cross-functional teams and programs in a distributed environment and influence without direct authority.
