Lead development of safety-critical real-time embedded avionics software compliant with DO-178 B/C standards.
Define and evolve software architecture and design, including producing high and low-level design artifacts (HOOD, UML).
Coordinate requirement engineering, debugging, stakeholder communication, and troubleshooting across system, simulator, flight tests, and in-service issues.
3 to 7 years of experience in full software lifecycle for avionics domain including requirements, design, coding, and unit testing.
Mandatory hands-on skills in embedded software requirements engineering, architecture, design, embedded programming (C/C++/ADA), and unit testing.
Experience with RTOS and adherence to DO-178 standards.
Work Experience Required: 3 to 7 years in avionics embedded software development.
Experienced in global/multisite team collaboration resolving complex technical and process issues.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and define software architecture/design in safety-critical avionics environments.
Familiarity with avionics standards and communication protocols (e.g., A429/CAN/AFDX) and exposure to certification audits and various SDLC methodologies is advantageous.
