Ensure production services for NoSQL, Vector, and cloud databases are scalable, resilient, high-performing, and secure.
Manage uptime via on-call rotation, monitoring, alerting to meet SLOs/SLAs, conduct disaster recovery drills, and lead incident management including root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Design, deploy, and automate reliability and security measures across hybrid cloud database services, developing tools for monitoring and early issue detection.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
7-12 years of technical experience with cloud databases; experience with Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus) and/or at least two of: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
Experience with AI frameworks (e.g. OpenAI API, Langchain).
Experience in designing, administering, and maintaining Vector or Cloud DB architecture including provisioning, upgrades, operations, backups, security, and performance.
Experienced in DevSecOps model for Hybrid Cloud Database services with automation expertise using Python and CI/CD tools like GitHub and Jenkins.
Skilled in building scalable, secure database platforms with strong skills in high availability and disaster recovery, preferably in hybrid cloud environments.
Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift) is a strong plus.
