Senior, niche AI security specialization and MXDR/CNAPP requirements reduce applicant density despite metro location.
AI-focused SecOps and specialized cloud/security tooling create high domain specificity and limited cross-industry transferability.
Explicit 8+ years plus mandatory Wiz/CNAPP, SOAR, detection engineering, and incident-command experience makes filters strict.

Own and architect AI and cloud security tooling (including Wiz), driving detection strategy and automated remediation to scale SecOps through engineering.
Manage AI red-teaming, vulnerability prioritization, third-party security partners, and incident response lifecycle to build resilient, automated security systems.
8 to 10+ years in hands-on security engineering or operations, with strong depth in security operations, incident response, and cloud security.
Hands-on experience with cloud security posture management and CNAPP tools; Wiz experience strongly preferred.
Proven ability in security automation including SOAR, detection-as-code, scripting (Python).
Experience securing AI/ML/LLM/agentic systems or ability to ramp quickly; experience managing MSSP/MXDR partners; strong incident response knowledge (NIST, SIEM, XDR).
Experienced in building or maturing SecOps functions focused on automation over headcount growth.
Technically hands-on leader comfortable owning AI security tooling and driving strategic detection and response engineering.
Familiar with AI security frameworks like OWASP LLM, MITRE ATLAS, and skilled in operationalizing AI-specific security controls and red-teaming.
